The International College of Caregivers and Healthcare Practitioners ("ICCHP", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why, and the choices you have. We aim to handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other laws that apply to us.
1. What information we collect
Registration form: full name, age, email address, WhatsApp number, highest educational qualification, the state you are applying from, and whether you would like news about future courses.
Learner profile: an optional photo, first and last name, birthday, optional gender, country, state or province, city, mobile number, whether you agree to SMS notifications, areas of interest, occupation, industry, educational attainment and any additional information you choose to add.
Technical information: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the website securely and protect it from abuse. If spam protection is switched on, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is being submitted by a person. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Please do not send us medical records, identity numbers or bank details through the website forms.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your registration or enquiry.
- To assess which course may suit your background and interests.
- To contact you about admission, fees, dates and enrolment.
- To send course news, but only if you have opted in.
3. How we use it
The admissions team reviews your details and contacts you by email, phone or WhatsApp. We use your photo only to identify you as an applicant. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other organisations for their own marketing.
If you ask about advanced training or international opportunities, we will ask for your permission before sharing any of your details with another institution or training provider.
4. How it is stored
Forms are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Each submission is delivered by email to ICCHP's registration inbox. Photos are sent as private email attachments and are never placed on a public web address. We keep registration information for as long as needed to deal with your application and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
Retention period to be confirmed by ICCHP
5. Who may access it
Only authorised ICCHP staff responsible for admissions and student support. Our service providers (website hosting and email delivery) process the data on our behalf only to provide their services.
6. How to request correction or deletion
You may ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email mail@icchp-global.com with the subject "Privacy request" and tell us the name and contact details you used. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting on the request.
7. How consent is managed
- Submitting a form requires you to confirm that you have read this policy.
- Course news and SMS notifications are optional and are only sent if you tick the relevant box. Registration does not depend on them.
- You can withdraw consent at any time by messaging us on WhatsApp or emailing us.
8. How to submit a privacy enquiry
Email mail@icchp-global.com, message us on WhatsApp, or write to ICCHP at 8, Apostle Famuyiwa Avenue, Off College Road, Ogba, Lagos, Nigeria.
